The FHSAA Lacrosse State Championships recently concluded at the esteemed Paradise Coast Sports Complex. The tournament was a showcase of competitive prowess, featuring 16 of Florida’s premier high school lacrosse teams, all vying for the distinct recognition of state champion.

Thousands of spectators joined us for the three-day event, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The competition was intense, but ultimately, only four teams emerged triumphant.

In the boys 2A division, St. Thomas Aquinas High School prevailed over Ponte Vedra High School with a decisive 13-4 victory. This was followed by a thrilling match in the boys 1A division, where The Benjamin School clinched the victory against St. Andrews High School, by a margin of 14-11.

Turning our focus to the girls’ teams, the 2A division featured Plant High School clashing with Lake Mary High School. Plant High School was crowned champions following a 10-7 win. The championship games concluded with a razor-close matchup between American Heritage High School and Lake Highland Prep in the girls’ 1A division, ending 6-5 in favor of Lake Highland Prep.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to FHSAA lacrosse and the assembled teams and spectators for contributing to the success of this event. The Paradise Coast Sports Complex continues to be a venue synonymous with excellence, committed to fostering high-level competition, and honoring athletic achievements. Because ONLY champions play here!
