2nd Annual Rockin’ Pirate Palooza

For the second straight year, the Naples community showed its swashbuckling spirit at Rockin’ Pirate Palooza. Over 650 pirates braved the seven seas to enjoy an evening full of classic rock music, exciting giveaways, and camaraderie in Paradise, as this year’s “Live at the Cove” music series came to a bountiful conclusion. Our “Very Important Pirates” (VIPs) sold out before the gates open, and enjoyed amazing food put together by our fantastic Food & Beverage team!

No compasses were needed to find The Cove on Saturday night. Landlubbers and Buccaneers alike set sail for the event as soon as gates opened. Many fans embraced the event by dressing in theme, including one privateer who came aboard with two live parrots!

Naples’ very own “Rock Republic” headlined the event, entertaining the crewmates in attendance and getting into the spirit by dressing up as Marauders.

At the end of the show, several sailors walked away with a piece of the plunder. Prizes in the event’s free raffle included tickets to a Fort Myers Mighty Mussels game, a sunset cruise and dinner for two on the Naples Princess, a cruise for 10 aboard Pure Florida’s Double Sunshine, Papa John’s Gift Certificates and a prize package from Paradise Coast Sports Complex.

From the themed food and beverages to the costumes and all the Rock Republic fans who made the evening unforgettable, Rockin’ Pirate Palooza showcases the unique and special way that Paradise Coast Sports Complex embraces its community and cultural events.
